Sushruta Samhita, Sutrasthana 15.41
One whose fundamental energies (doshas) and digestive fire are balanced, whose tissues and eliminations work well, and whose self, senses and mind are clear and content, is called healthy (svastha).

Ayurveda teaches us that physical health and mental clarity are completely intertwined. You cannot separate the mind from the body. Being healthy does not just mean your physical systems are working well; it means your mind feels bright, settled, and clear, rather than weighed down or crushed.
