Bhagavad Gita 18.66

Leaving all rigid duties, take refuge in Me alone. I will free you. Do not grieve.

सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज । अहं त्वां सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः ॥

sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja | aham tvam sarva-papebhyo moksayisyami ma sucah ||

Leaving all rigid duties, take refuge in Me alone. I will free you. Do not grieve.

Bhakti as a place to put impossible load. It is not permission to abandon a child's safety or a prescribed tablet.
